Another 3 points but not the best game of football to watch.
We had a great start with an early goal but after that it turned into a very scrappy first half.
We just couldn’t get control of the ball and when we did the passing just wasn’t there as we held on to the ball too much individually.
After the break and a bit of a talking too we started to play football and soon got another 2 goals.
To be fair we should have had a few more as we dominated the game as Atherton weren’t the toughest opposition that we have come across.
Today’s man of the match went to two players, Aaron who had a great game at the back who was solid as a rock and Cole who not only scored but played some lovely balls through the Atherton defence to set us up on numerous occasions.
