De La Salle U16's (09/10)

Originally the team was managed by Vincent Cantrill who was stepping down at the close of season U8's, to which Peter Ward put Paul Swift forward for the new Manager.
On taking over the management the team was entered into the City of Salford League (formerly known as the Swinton Friendly League) joining another 5 teams to form the league.
In May 2003 the team went on tour to Minehead and became runners in the Easter Spring Festival Tournment.
Sept 2003 the team had developed forming 2 7 aside teams, which then were taken on tour to Minehead 2004.
From day one the team has never finished outside the top three and have always achieved semis or finals.
At U12's the team won the De La Salle Tournament.
At U14's the team entered Timperley and District Junior League and achieved the semi final stage of the county cup against Curzon Ashton.
At the close of season at U14's the team were disbanding due to players having other interests, it was therefore suggested to set up a Saturday team to which was entered into the Bolton Bury District Junior Football League to which they finished 3rd in the 1st division, and semi finalist of the Chairmans Cup.
